Anne-Julie Raccoursier
"Loop Line", Kunsthaus, Langenthal
The artist has developed a complex installation, which in terms of content shuttles between the concepts of motivation and burn-out. The artist brings into sharp focus two states of our society that are characteristic of our time: on the one hand, we are highly motivated and trained, we become animated, we are encouraged to take part in activities and are unable to be calm and to sit still; on the other hand, hyperactive and sleepless, we are on the verge of exhaustion. kunsthauslangenthal.ch

Feature film "Die Nagelprobe"
A young archaeologist finds a bed of nails on an Obwaldner moor, which points to a grisly act in the Middle Ages. Her research is hindered, because today's Obwalden seeks to be a modern, tax-efficient canton and does not want to be faced with stories of its brutal forebears (like the ancient feuds of the Middle East). A film by Luke Gasser, who time and again opens up new paths with his idiosyncratic production methods.

Adrian Paci. Motion Picture)s)
Kunsthaus Zürich, Zürich
Adrian Paci is one of the few internationally known Albanian artists. In his work - videos, painting, installations, photography - he draws on the subject matter of migration, globalisation and cultural identity, and finds compelling images to show the effects of displacement, war and social upheaval on humans.
Supply Lines
The international art and media project Supply Lines (by, inter alia, Ursula Biemann) explores the interaction between humans and natural resources (e.g. oil, water, silver, cotton), their relationship spaces and behavioural interrelations. A prototypical online multi-media platform is at the heart of Supply Lines. geobodies.org
Fabian Marti: Work on the Essence
His second film project with the working title "Work on the Essence" deals with themes such as triumph, endeavour and the pursuit of an objective that can never be attained. Like his first film project ("We Know Time," 2010) "Work on the Essence" can also be read as a variation of a Land Art project, the artist's intervention in nature. It is also about a metaphor that reflects themes repeatedly incorporated into his work.

!Media Group Bitnik, im Substitut Berlin
In its developmental works, Bitnik questions the omni-presence of technical and media systems in everyday life and their impact on social interrelations. Central to this are the strategies of hacking, that is to say artistic interventions in existing systems that open it up for a purpose other than that intended.

Kunsthalle St. Gallen, "Remains to be seen"
The central theme of the exhibition "Remains to be Seen" in the Kunst Halle St. Gallen is the representation of the male body. In the Kunst Halle, medieval armour is mixed with photographs of Renaissance sculptures and marble pedestals in an atmospheric ensemble. In addition, a completely different image of men is ironically presented in a 16 mm film which is the centrepiece of the exhibition.
